Do you want to buy a new truck but have worries about the digital tachograph and how it works?
TDI has helped and assisted a number of companies through into the digital era by offering a hands on service to support you all the way.
How does the service work?
- We will visit your premises and issue you and your drivers with the forms required by the DVLA to apply for your digital cards.
- When the new vehicle arrives we visit and install the company card details into the vehicle unit. This locks your company details into the machine.
- We will give a demonstration as to how the driver will use the tachograph on a daily basis.
- Once the vehicle has been used for the first week, we will visit and download the driver’s card onto a laptop in order to see whether the driver has used the tachograph correctly.
- Full analysis will be carried out on both the driver and vehicle information revealing any problems. This will enable us to address any issues with both you and your driver’s, hopefully clearing up any misunderstandings from the start.
- We will answer questions and give advice on an ongoing basis as and when required.
What does the service cost?
Cost is dependent upon your location and the number of vehicles and drivers involved. We tailor this service to match your individual requirements, once these have been assessed, we can give you a quote.
